1. What is the Utility Bill?

Utility Billing only pertains to residents receiving their water from the Village of Indian Head Park. Some residents receive their water from the La Grange Highlands Sanitary District.

The utility bill reflects the cost of maintaining our underground sewer line, and our water maintenance system. It also includes the cost to purchase water from the Village’s water supplier, the City of Countryside.

Utility bills for water and sewer services are processed through the Village of Indian Head Park Administration Department, located at the Village Hall.

2. When do the bills come out and when are they due?

Residential water bills are billed out bi-monthly by the Utility Billing staff at the end of every 2nd Month - January 1st, March 1st, May 1st, July 1st, September 1st, and November 1st.

Payment is due on or before the due date by 5 p.m. Any payments received after 5 p.m. on the due date are considered late (this includes payments dropped in the drop box after 5 p.m.)

3. Where does Indian Head Park source our water?

Indian Head Park buys its water from the City of Countryside, which is sourced from Lake Michigan & the City of Chicago.

4. Whom do I contact for a Water / Sewer Emgergency?

In case of a water or sewer emergency, call 911. If it is a non-emergency please call our Public Works Department at 708-246-1233 extension 1 during business hours, and during non-business hours, please call the non-emergency Police Department at 708-246-3161.
