VIRTUAL PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING!The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH) invites you to participate in a virtual public information meeting on April 14, 2021, for the Plainfield Road Phase I Study. The study extends along Plainfield Road from County Line Road to East Avenue. The goals of the Plainfield Road Study are to address existing roadway and drainage deficiencies, enhance pedestrian and bicycle accommodations and connectivity and improve the safety and operational efficiency for all users. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this public information meeting will be hosted virtually. Dial-in options will also be available. The meeting will include a presentation from the project team to introduce the project, outline the public engagement plan and efforts completed to date, review existing conditions in the corridor and discuss the proposed corridor alternatives for consideration. After the presentation, County representatives will be available for a question-and-answer session. Virtual Public Information Meeting:April 14, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Meeting materials will be posted to the project website one week prior to the meeting. Public questions and comments will be accepted until May 5, 2021. Written comments can be sent during the time of registration prior to the meeting, during the meeting, and after the meeting.
