Crimes in the Area

There has been an uptick in violent crimes in the area, these include an armed robbery at the 7-11 on Joliet Road and a number of car jackings in surrounding communities.
IHP residents are reminded to be aware of their surroundings at all times and keep their house/car doors locked.

When in doubt about suspicious activity, just call 9-1-1. We would rather respond to 99,999 calls where nothing happens than miss the one call where something is "happening".
