Electrical Aggregation and the Village

IHP Is Going Green!

Recently, the Village Board selected Eligo Energy as the Alternative Electricity Supplier for the Village.

Village residents and small businesses will enjoy a new benefit. Residents will pay the exact same rate billed by ComEd and the Village will be credited with 100% Renewable / Green Energy. At no additional cost to the residents or the Village.

Review your notice carefully, as ratepayers receive different notices, depending, for example, if you’ve already enrolled with another supplier. Some accounts remain at ComEd and others will enroll with Chicago-based Eligo Energy. (You need take no action and will automatically be included unless you contracted with another supplier.) All pay the same rate, and the Village receives Renewable Energy Certificates representing Green power for all.

Questions?

For questions about your electric account, rather than call Village Hall, please call Indian Head Park’s aggregation program supplier, Eligo, at 708-300-9324. If you require additional assistance, you may call the Village's electrical aggregation consultant, NIMEC, at 800-727-3820 or email sdurling@NIMEC.net to leave your question and callback number. You will be contacted within 24 hours regarding the issue.

To report an electrical outage, or for questions pertaining to your ComEd bill, always call ComEd at 800-334-7661.

You need take no action to participate (unless you have already selected an alternative supplier.) By participating, you will never pay more than the ComEd rate and the Village will receive certification as an EPA Green Power Community—at no cost to you or the Village!
