POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Indian Head Park Police Department is responsible for twenty-four hour a day, seven days a week protection of residents, businesses, and guests of the Village. The Indian Head Park Police Department is headed by a Chief of Police, Deputy Chief along with seven full-time patrol officers, and eleven part-time patrol officers.

Alarm Registration
Please fill out the Alarm Registration Form and return to the Police Department or the Village Hall.
Fingerprinting
Fingerprinting of residents is available at no cost at the Police Department during business hours. Fingerprinting is no charge to residents and $10.00 for non residents. Please call 708- 246-4534 for more information.
Freedom Of Information Act (F.O.I.A.) Requests
To request records, please fill out the Freedom of Information Act Request Form, and submit to the Administration Office located inside the Police Station.

Overnight Parking
Parking on Village streets is prohibited from 2:00 am through 6:00 am
Overnight parking requests can be made by completing the Overnight Parking Request Form or calling the vehicle in to the IHP Police Department at the dispatch center 708-246-3161.
- Requests must be received before 1:30 am
- Overnight parking on Village streets is limited to (3) requests within a (30) day period
- Overnight parking is prohibited when snowfall is (2) or more inches on roadways
Police Reports & Records
The Police Department is responsible for processing, maintaining, and storing all records and documentation relating to the day to day operation within the department. Records Office Hours

Monday through Friday
Police reports may be obtained in person at the Police Department during regular business hours or requested by emailing Police Records Clerk, Patricia Klein.
- Accident Reports: $5.00 per report
- Police Department Freedom of Information Act Request: fee may apply
Vacation Watch
Residents may request a Vacation Watch before leaving home for an extended period of time. Registering your home with the Police Department, offers extra patrol of your residence while you are away. Notifying the Police Department provides us with a way to contact you in the event a issue may arise with your residence as well. We ask the residents to fill out the Vacation Watch Request Form below or in person during business hours between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Please note: Vacation Request Forms must be turned in (7) days before your vacation departure.
