Freedom of Information

Government transparency promotes accountability and provides information to citizens about what their Government is doing. The Citizen's Information Center is where the public can obtain most information about the Village of Indian Head Park, such as elected and administrative officials, meeting information, public records, and more.

The Illinois Policy Institute (IPI) created a 10-point transparency checklist to hold government and elected officials accountable to the citizens and taxpayers, providing a "best practices" framework to improve government transparency throughout the state of Illinois. Mayor Hinshaw and the Board of Trustees are committed to open and honest government. The objective is to go above and beyond the IPI transparency checklist. If you don't see something here that you want to know about, call or email John Durocher, Village Adminsitrator (708) 246-3080 x104 or jdurocher@indianheadpark-il.gov.

The Indian Head Park Transparency Checklist includes:

       1.  Elected and Administrative Officials
